Synopsis:
The Blue Lotus is a touching story about four youths in old Shanghai. They all have a dream--to preform in a night club called the Blue Lotus. This serial is a touching story of their lives, their love, their hardships, their eternal friendship and their striving to reach that one goal that they would die for.
Main Characters:
Zhou Zi Hao, played by Lu Yi, is a very headstrong person. Ever since he was little, he\'s been poor, and wants nothing more than to finally be able to stand up and have others bow down to him instead. He starts to make friends with a certian Jin Ge, a leader of a black society, and ends up killing him and being the leader himself. Despite this, he has never forgotten his friends, and is still good at heart, but different in the fact that he is willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
Guo Shun Jing, played by Ren Quan, is a very innocent person. He plays the piano, and holds on to his music very dearly. No matter what happens, he always remains optimistic and thoughtful.
Shi Da Lun is basically a funny guy that tricks people for a living. He doens\'t really have any good qualities, takes nothing seriously, and talks his way through things. Underneath his playful exterior though, he\'s gentle and kind at heart, and is willing to do anything for his friends.
Wang Yue Feng is the trumpet player of the group. He was always very poor, working at factories and all, but always willing to stand up for his beliefs. He knows what hardship is, bu tdoesn\'t complain and makes the best of it.
Over the course of the years, all these people grow and change in different ways. Ever since they met in a street fight when they were young, they have become the best of friends. They sepearte, then meet up again time after time, and will tell you one of the most touching stories that you\'ll ever hear in your life and will bring you to tears.
